Four Seasons Hotel Boston was built in the Eighties, though to its credit it feels considerably older — and the views over the Public Garden lend it a certain timelessness. At the same time, a thorough recent renovation has left the interiors looking as sharp as ever, with a refreshing absence of old New England stylistic clichés. The rooms and suites are classic in style and they’re pleasing to all senses: the Four Seasons signature bed is phenomenally comfortable, and the marble-clad bathroom is practically a private spa.
