With a wonderful courtyard terrace that truly feels like a garden, this restaurant in the Seehotel Hubertushof, located on the lake promenade, is aptly named! But if the weather is not cooperating, you can also dine inside, at a table in the tasteful, modern interior. The cuisine is made with local and organic ingredients and with a strong emphasis on seasonality. In addition to fresh fish – from the lake or the surrounding region – other recommended dishes include organic beetroot, Weidenwald, St Veit, organic sheep's cheese, pistachio, balsamic caviar, organic hemp oil, or Marillenknödel: apricot dumplings cooked in an organic quark batter and served with a sweetened breadcrumb topping, apricot compote and white chocolate ice cream. There is also a bistro with a terrace giving onto Europaplatz.
"Our restaurant is not only rated and promoted by Bio Austria and Slow Food, but it is also entirely in keeping with our philosophy of supporting local farmers and producers. "From field to plate" is our slogan, and that means "regional first". Much of our produce comes from suppliers within a 50km radius, and morning fishing with our Wörthersee fisherman, farm visits and small farm shops are all part of the way we work!"
