Chef Menandro (Nandro) Rodrigues's passion for Japanese cooking is the driving force behind this welcoming restaurant, right in the heart of the Copacabana neighbourhood. On the ground floor, there are tables on the pavement and a relaxed, informal service; upstairs, a Japanese-styled dining room houses an impressive counter facing the open kitchen, with tables spread across several distinct areas. Faithful to the Japanese philosophy of Kaizen — which means continuous improvement — the chef dedicates particular care to both his techniques and his produce, sourced directly from local fishermen.
