Renovating a church sanctuary to house a wine bar and restaurant certainly doesn't sound like a Bad Idea to us. That is the premise behind this striking East Nashville spot, where Alex Burch leads a robust wine program with more than 100 selections housed in a custom wine cellar. Featuring a massive bar anchoring the center of the room and expansive seating all around, the restaurant is primed for groups out for a good time. The kitchen prepares a host of playful dishes like whipped pimento cheese or a riff on chicken nuggets, as well as hearty entrees like charcoal grilled steak and quail stuffed with spinach.
