This is the first Taizhou branch of the sister brand of Xu's Cuisine in Chengdu, and it showcases not only authentic Sichuan fare but also some Taizhou seafood dishes. The wok-fried pork belly in Sichuan spices has remarkable wok hei; the blackened chillies bring colour contrast and smoky flavour. Tangy chillies and radish pickled in-house lend nuanced, rounded heat to the sautéed bullfrog with chillies, angled loofah and young ginger.
