With solid experience and stints with market gardeners to her name, chef Chloé Clamens opened this bistro nestled in a lively street near the port. The attentive and friendly team immediately make you feel welcome in this space that exudes authenticity – exposed stone and light-coloured wood on the ground floor, a handsome freestone vaulted cellar in the basement, and a few tables on the terrace. The concise menu eschews frills and opaque names, instead highlighting the quality of the ingredients, which are prepared precisely and simply. Examples include "pâté Grand-Mère Nouche", a nod to the chef's grandmother, and veal onglet with morels accompanied by fregola sarda.
