Traditional Elegance & Lively
Le Chabichou began as a nine-bedroom chalet in Courchevel 1850 in 1963, when Michel and Maryse Rochedy bought the property and started cooking for guests. It earned its first Michelin star in 1979, the village's first, and a second in 1984. Chef Stéphane Buron joined in 1987 and eventually became a Meilleur Ouvrier de France. The hotel now has 41 rooms and suites, all finished in a contemporary alpine style with cozy interiors and refined finishes. Ski-in access to the Trois Vallées, a spa, and multiple dining options range from formal two-star dinners to Savoyard classics at the mountain restaurant.
