Three Stars: Exceptional cuisine
Exceptional produce is the bedrock of everything they do at L’Enclume. Simon Rogan's 'Our Farm' provides ingredients that are picked daily and fashioned into a menu infused with Rogan's special brand of culinary alchemy. Dishes such as the signature 'Anvil' dessert featuring miso caramel and apple compote showcase immense technical skill and supremely balanced flavour combinations. Everything is made even more wonderful by the enthusiastic team and your visit can be enhanced in a number of ways: by a seat at the 'Aulis' chef's table, by a summertime tour round the farm or by a stay in one of the bedrooms spread about the village.
"At L'Enclume we use ingredients from our 12 acre farm, which was designed by chefs, for chefs; along with local suppliers for meat and fish. We have continually developed preserving methods over the past decade to enable us to extend the time we can rely on our own growing."
