This restaurant, housed in the superbly restored 12C Rajhenburg castle overlooking the Sava river, takes its name from the huge inner courtyard that provides the perfect setting for an aperitif chosen from the many Slovenian sparkling wines served here. In the elegant and stylishly furnished dining room, enjoy a surprise tasting menu (4, 5, 6 or 7 courses) of modern dishes that are full of flavour – the zander with celeriac and the beef with Jerusalem artichoke are particularly delicious. The friendly staff are happy to offer tours of the castle, while the views from the outdoor terrace are truly delightful.
