This restaurant is named after the year in which Das Schiff, the tasteful hotel that houses it, was founded. Done out in an abundance of wood and featuring delightful decorative details such as pictures and lamps, the dining nooks with their classically laid tables are the epitome of cosiness. In his set menu, chef Bernd Reimer places great emphasis on regionality, but also incorporates international flavours. The quality of the produce is exquisite – as exemplified by Black cod with miso, salicornia, chanterelles and wild garlic gnocchi. Dominated by labels from the tri-border region, the wine list boasts plenty of tempting options. Service with a personal touch adds to the charm of the overall experience.
