Michelin is pleased to announce today the annual edition of the MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong and Macau 2022 will be released in a virtual award ceremony on 19 JANUARY 2022 at 3 pm Hong Kong time. For the second year, it will be digitally live streamed via MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong and Macau’s official Facebook page as well as the regional MICHELIN Guide Asia YouTube channel.

Seven acclaimed chefs flew in from all around the world to create an elaborate 7-course meal centred around the theme of "Sustainability Through Motion".

More than 500 guests, including chefs of Michelin-starred restaurant and industry professionals, gathered in City of Dreams Macau to celebrate the launch of the 12th edition of the MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong Macau with a star-studded gala dinner themed "Sustainability Through Motion".

In the 12th edition of the Hong Kong Macau guide, 16 restaurants receive new stars, including 2 new three-starred restaurants, 3 new two-starred restaurants, and 11 new one-starred restaurants.

Based on the theme of "Sustainability Through Motion", this year's gala dinner will be prepared by seven world-class chefs from around the globe.

International Director of the MICHELIN Guides, Gwendal Poullennec, will unveil the latest edition of the guide at the press conference at the City of Dreams, Macau in the afternoon, followed by a gala dinner featuring global guest chefs.
