Its winter wonderland setting surrounded by snowy peaks turns into views of lush mountain meadows come summer, making the hotel an all-year-round destination with plenty to do, from cozy horse drawn carriage rides and snowshoeing to hiking, fishing, and outdoor swimming. Restaurant Aurelio’s highlights the region with a creative twist on traditional dishes, and the open fire of the Licca Lounge is particularly inviting in winter, although there’s also a sun terrace and al fresco BBQs to enjoy in summer.
