This listed building lies in the heart of Bregenz, in a side street not far from the town hall. It has welcomed diners for over 160 years. Historical rustic-style elements such as old floorboards and wood-panelled ceilings and walls have been beautifully combined with modern interior design details. The dedicated pair running operations are Carla Booz and Manuel Willi – she provides cordial and attentive service front of house, while he oversees the kitchen, cooking up delicious food, including "filet 'Stroganoff' with porcini and spaetzli", or sea bass with a bean and tomato salad served lukewarm.
