This remarkable restaurant in Hotel Bayerischer Hof is reminiscent of an artist's studio – chic grey dominates the colour scheme and everything is tastefully done, down to the last detail. This understated luxury comes courtesy of Axel Vervoordt's interior design. The young yet experienced and extremely personable team pull out all the stops and provide attentive service. There has been a change in the kitchen, with Valentin Krehl, long-time sous-chef to Anton Gschwendtner, now at the helm. The seven- or five-course tasting menu is served with optional wine pairings from an extensive wine list featuring some 300 labels.
