The elegant, modern setting with a Nordic feel and the magnificent view over Flensburg Firth are exceptionally inviting from the outset. The visual appeal is topped only by Dirk Luther's wonderful set menu. Your anticipation builds as you enter and get a glimpse into the kitchen through the viewing windows. The classically based dishes are well thought out, displaying both depth and finesse, and place top-quality ingredients centre stage – outstanding examples include turbot and lobster from Denmark! The set menu is available in six or eight courses; for the six-course format, there are two starters and two main courses to choose from. A vegetarian version can also be arranged with prior notice. Excellent service comes courtesy of sommelier Martin Kammann and his highly attuned, professional and attentive team. The wine recommendations from the superbly curated list are fantastic, backed by thorough and knowledgeable guidance.
