Reborn in late 2024 thanks to the enthusiasm of a young Frenchwoman raised among vineyard rows and harvests, this historic establishment has found new life without losing its soul as a rustic, welcoming wine shop. Just beyond the entrance, guests pause for an easy lunch, guided by a nimble offering written on the blackboard and enriched by a daily special – irresistible, during our visit, the saffron risoni with mantis shrimp. In the evening (reservations recommended), one moves into the more intimate spaces that open beyond the visible kitchen, where the young Roman chef, trained at the ALMA school, presents seasonal dishes interpreted with technique and creativity. The wine list is excellent, harmoniously divided between Italian labels and those from across the Alps.
