Occupying a former clerical building directly across from Como Cathedral, DBH Boutique Hotel is as central as it gets in the old town. The 2019 renovation produced 19 rooms and suites dressed in warm herringbone floors, wood-slatted walls, marble bathrooms, and furniture from local artisans. The building's history adds some texture: a 1990 lightning strike shattered the cathedral's 15th-century marble spire just across the street, sending debris crashing into the very facade the hotel now faces. Bottega Comacini, the all-day bar, keeps things going at street level.
