Located at the edge of the picturesque village centre of Jisp, this authentic establishment has kept its spirit wonderfully intact. The restaurant is brimming with charm and character; in fine weather, the pontoon terrace right on the water is the place to be. The menu features timeless classics and Asian-inspired creations. Examples include tuna tataki brushed with yakitori sauce, nuts and seeds, and beef tournedos topped with duck liver and finished with a delicate Madeira sauce – choosing between the à la carte and the set menu is no easy task. The proprietor is on hand to provide expert wine recommendations. And if you would like to truly make a night of it, stay over in one of the guestrooms upstairs.
