This spot in a retro drugstore still draws in a lively local crowd—not unlike neighboring sister, Pizzetta 211. The big and airy space is charming, as is the friendly staff, and a well-curated Italian-focused wine list and well-crafted cocktails are additional bonuses. The kitchen turns out a Cal-Italian menu, like rustic handkerchiefs in a creamy white Bolognese sauce, or caramelle filled with melty crescenza cheese and paired with smoked walnuts, chanterelles and brown butter.
