The mountains of the Saanenland provide a stunning backdrop – and in summer the terrace is pure bliss! Beyond the idyllic outdoor spaces, the interior welcomes diners with rustic elegance and tasteful design, elevated by the warmth of reclaimed wood. And then there's the outstanding cooking of chef-patron Erich Baumer: Using top-quality ingredients, he creates regional and classic dishes with a Mediterranean twist – think warm scallops with asparagus salad and pink grapefruit fillets, or Austrian saddle of venison with chanterelles, rösti and sweet-and-sour plums. The ever-present proprietress brings a heartfelt touch to the service.
