Located on the ground floor of a modern building close to the bullring, La Ideal Mar’s main focus is on the sea, as you’ll deduce from its name. Chef Andrés Conde has returned home after a long stint working in kitchens around the world (France, USA, Peru, South Africa, Dubai, etc) to offer locals his relaxed, traditional style of cuisine with the occasional contemporary touch. On the menu you’ll find oysters, oven-baked fish sourced directly from the market, a superb seafood stew, an extensive array of rice dishes (for two people), plus a couple of meat options. The glass-fronted kitchen overlooks the dining room where the colourful live lobster tank is a key feature.
