La Fefa is the perfect place for lovers of authentic flavours from the Emilia region. Start your meal off with a selection of the finest charcuterie, in which an outstanding Culatello di Zibello, accompanied by a “Gnocco Fritto” not to be missed reigns supreme. Continue with excellent homemade, fresh-egg pasta followed by main courses made up exclusively of meat, in keeping with local tradition. The dessert page is deliciously tempting, offering an extensive selection of sweet treats: trifle, biscuits served with warm zabaione, “taccolenta degli Estensi” cake and lots of other specialities that evoke memories of the region’s cuisine. Fragrant and generous flavours, served in a simple but charming dining room featuring a splendid wooden ceiling recovered from an old country haybarn.
Great attention is also paid to the winelist, which boasts impressive vintages and a meticulously curated selection, skilfully put together by talented sommelier Edoardo, that completes a rich, sincere and profoundly Emilian gastronomic experience.
