"In a skilfully refurbished farmhouse nestled in the hills surrounding San Gimignano, Da Pode restaurant welcomes guests into cosy dining rooms featuring stone and wood, and onto a large terrace where, when the weather is warm, diners can enjoy their meal as they admire the Tuscan countryside. The cuisine is authentic and deeply rooted in tradition, with recipes handed down through four generations. Fresh pasta is prepared daily on the premises, the meat is of the highest quality, and the desserts are worthy of attention too: the soft, light apple cake with custard is a delicious finale that sums up all the authenticity of the place.
