The full restaurant selection of the MICHELIN Guide Taiwan 2023 is revealed today. 2 restaurants promoted to Three MICHELIN Stars, 3 restaurants promoted to Two MICHELIN Stars, and 7 restaurants are newly awarded with One MICHELIN Star and 2 restaurants newly receive the MICHELIN Green Star for their sustainable commitments.

139 restaurants are awarded a Bib Gourmand in the MICHELIN Guide Taiwan 2023. Among these, there are a total of 26 newly awarded Bib Gourmand establishments, with many restaurants offering Taiwanese cuisine specialties and local small eats.

Six new restaurants respectively in Taipei and Taichung are awarded a Bib Gourmand in the MICHELIN Guide 2022 Selection. Wonder what impressed our inspectors? Let's find out.

Tainan and Kaohsiung make their debut within the MICHELIN Guide with 83 restaurants, of which 2 received One MICHELIN Star in Kaohsiung. 5 new restaurants awarded One MICHELIN Star in Taipei, and the sustainable commitments of two new restaurants are celebrated with the MICHELIN Green Star.

In the MICHELIN Guide Taipei & Taichung 2021, Taipei has 1 new 2-Star Restaurant and 5 new restaurants receive a first MICHELIN Star; Taichung has 2 new 1-Star restaurants; and, for the very first time, 2 restaurants in Taipei receive MICHELIN Green Stars.

MICHELIN's famously particular food critics shared what impresses them most about newly starred and promoted restaurants logy, A Cut, Molino de Urdániz and Sushi Akira in Taipei and JL Studio, Fleur de Sel, Forchetta and Oretachi No Nikuya in Taichung.

The inaugural edition of the MICHELIN Guide Taipei & Taichung recognises 1 new 2-star restaurant and 3 new 1-star restaurants in Taipei and 1 new 2-star restaurant and 3 new one-star venues in Taichung.
