What was once the town hall is now home to a cosy yet on-trend restaurant that combines contemporary design with the warmth of wood and natural tones. The cuisine is ambitious, creative and modern, but at the same time agreeably down-to-earth. The names of the dishes are original, such as "Feuerstarter" ("Firestarter"): corn-fed chicken pot-au-feu from the charcoal grill, or "Geflüster" ("Whispers"): Ahrenholz catfish fillet, char caviar, pea medallions, leek, elderflower beurre blanc. The colourful, visually appealing creations are underpinned by meticulous preparation and are a joy to eat. In addition to the à la carte selection, there are two four-course set menus, one of which is vegetarian. Shaded by lime trees, the terrace is lovely in summer. Comfortable overnight accommodation is also available.
