Lincoln's first boutique hotel takes its name from Ken Kindler, a Ulysses-born creative whose spirit runs through the property's art-forward details and Ross Vincent-designed interiors. Rooms are easy and polished, sand and taupe tones with channeled headboards, soaker tubs, and honor bars; the Salon Suites add generous living areas with an easy residential character. Downtown Lincoln is right outside, and the hotel brings something the city hadn't previously had: a proper boutique address with distinctive dining and a bar program worth lingering at.
