It’s certainly not for lack of interesting places to stay; the 15-room Olea Hotel is a memorable mix of old-world charm and boutique-hotel cool, and offers a pleasantly low-key version of the Sonoma Valley experience.
Shaded by oaks and wraparound porches, and furnished in a hybrid urban-rustic style, it’s a hotel with more than a little bit of a residential vibe. Heated bathroom floors are universal, and many units come with gas fireplaces. There’s a very pleasant pool, a small spa, and an outdoor fire pit for gathering.
