5 new restaurants in Taipei and 2 in Kaohsiung are awarded One MICHELIN Star. Find out what impressed the MICHELIN Guide inspectors in these 7 newly-starred restaurants.

Tainan and Kaohsiung make their debut within the MICHELIN Guide with 83 restaurants, of which 2 received One MICHELIN Star in Kaohsiung. 5 new restaurants awarded One MICHELIN Star in Taipei, and the sustainable commitments of two new restaurants are celebrated with the MICHELIN Green Star.

MICHELIN Guide Taipei, Taichung, Tainan and Kaohsiung 2022 Star Revelation Press Conference and Gala Dinner event will officially take place on 30 August 2022. A magnificent six-course dinner will be presented, celebrating the diversity of the local gastronomy scene and paying tribute to local heritage and street food.

In total, the new edition showcases 100 restaurants, including 2 three-Star restaurants, 3 two-Star restaurants, 29 one-Star restaurants as well as 18 Bib Gourmand establishments.
