On the eve of the Olympic Games, the Parisian food scene is flexing its muscles, from legendary restaurants making a comeback to a Japanese tea ceremony and 50 shades of bistronomy.

This year's selection features 2 new Three Stars, 8 new Two Stars and a new generation of chefs earning their first Star before the age of 40

Restaurant Harutaka is newly awarded Three MICHELIN Stars. One restaurant newly receives Two MICHELIN Stars, and 16 restaurants are recognised with One MICHELIN Star. The MICHELIN Green Star highlights the sustainable commitment of one new establishment. Two Special Awards are presented: the MICHELIN Mentor Chef and the MICHELIN Service Award.

With Disfrutar (Barcelona) and Noor (Córdoba), Spain has achieved a historical zenith by reaching 15 establishments awarded Three MICHELIN Stars. There is 1 new Two MICHELIN Star restaurant and 31 new restaurants that have been awarded One MICHELIN Star, which brings the number of establishments in Spain that have been awarded Stars to a total of 271. 12 new restaurants have also been awarded the MICHELIN Green Star.
