The MICHELIN Guide launches its first regional edition for Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang, featuring 409 restaurants — including 77 stars — and celebrating culinary excellence across four new cities, plus introducing the region’s first Mentor Chef Award.

Covering 96 restaurants across four cities — including newly added Ningde — the selection also welcomes two new One Stars and 19 new Bib Gourmands.

The MICHELIN Guide Beijing 2026 selection has been unveiled, featuring two restaurants promoted to Two MICHELIN Stars and the presentation of the first MICHELIN Mentor Chef Award in Mainland China.

The MICHELIN Guide unveils its 2025 Jiangsu Province selection in Nanjing, a historic yet modern culinary powerhouse along the Yangtze River.

The first provincial selection of the MICHELIN Guide in mainland China, dedicated to Fujian Province, features 69 restaurants across Fuzhou, Xiamen, and Quanzhou, including 5 One-Star establishments, 47 Bib Gourmand selections, and 2 professionals honored with Special Awards.

The MICHELIN Guide Shanghai 2025 is released, featuring one new Two Star restaurant, five new One Star establishments, over 30 cooking styles, and honoring three exceptional professionals with Special Awards. And for the first time, a dim sum restaurant is awarded One MICHELIN Star in city.

The latest MICHELIN Guide Beijing includes one new restaurant awarded Two MICHELIN Stars, three restaurants receiving One MICHELIN Star, and four restaurants newly added to the Bib Gourmand list.

Michelin is pleased to present the full restaurant selection of the MICHELIN Guide Chengdu 2025. One restaurant is newly recognized with One MICHELIN Star, and 5 establishments newly received a Bib Gourmand. The MICHELIN Green Star is awarded for the first time to a restaurant in Chengdu, too.

For the very first time, and after covering several major Chinese cities, the MICHELIN Guide will release restaurant selections at a provincial level, starting with two new destinations: Fujian and Jiangsu.

The seventh edition of the MICHELIN Guide Guangzhou is revealed—one restaurant is newly recognized with one MICHELIN star, and 2 establishments newly received a Bib Gourmand and the MICHELIN Green Star is awarded for the first time to a Guangzhou restaurant.

The eighth edition of the MICHELIN Guide Shanghai was unveiled, recommending 148 restaurants, including 23 restaurants debuting on the list.

The fifth MICHELIN Guide Beijing selection is revealed. This selection rewards 105 restaurants, including 16 new establishments, and represents over 30 culinary styles. 1 new restaurant is awarded Three MICHELIN Stars, and 3 new restaurants receive One MICHELIN Star.

The latest selection recognises one new Two-MICHELIN-Star and 3 new One-Michelin-Star restaurants, while the Bib Gourmand selection expands with 7 new restaurants. The MICHELIN Sommelier Award also makes its debut in Shanghai amid wider recognition of hospitality talents.

MICHELIN is pleased to present its new restaurant selection for the MICHELIN Guide Chengdu 2023. It references 57 restaurants including 1 Two MICHELIN Star, 10 One MICHELIN Star, and 15 Bib Gourmand restaurants. The Guide also recognizes outstanding culinary talents through 2 special Awards, in which the Sommelier Award is handed out for the first time in Chengdu.

The full selection of the MICHELIN Guide Chengdu 2022 has been announced on Jan. 6, 2022, celebrating 1 two MICHELIN Star, 8 one MICHELIN Star and 13 Bib Gourmand restaurants, as well as a special award – the MICHELIN Service Award.

With several new stars and the launch of the MICHELIN Green Star selection, the second edition of the MICHELIN Guide Beijing celebrates novelty, gastronomic excellence and sustainability.
