This stunning restaurant inside the boutique hotel, Casa Izel, is a soaring space with a glass-paneled ceiling. Concrete walls and floors lend a contemporary cool vibe while the open kitchen adds kinetic energy. Under the culinary direction of Chef Jonatán Gómez Luna Torres and headed by Executive Chef Efrén Oswaldo, Xuna's contemporary Mexican cuisine is available as an à la carte or as a tasting menu. Consider items such as Oaxaqueños tomates, presented with bocconcini, an array of greenery, grilled avocado and a mildly smoked tomato water broth swirled with herb oil. The catch of the day may reveal itself as grilled amberjack composed with a dollop of caramelized cauliflower puree and a vibrant green mole pipian made with seaweed and poblano chile.
