Fancy visiting a restaurant inspired by an Italian setting? At Grotta Cucina, the setting is inspired by the Grotte di Castellana, the breathtaking caves located just a few kilometres from Bari. In this two-floor space — where the walls evoke the interior of a cave and candles mimic the limestone formations that have built up over centuries — authentic Italian dishes are served, with simple preparations that are nonetheless bursting with flavour. The menu features a range of antipasti, including focaccias, millefeuilles, and carpaccios, as well as main courses  such as dried pastas, risottos… Our recommendation? The Sinfonia D'Anatra, pappardelle spirals filled with duck and rôti sauce, and the Parigi, gnocchi with parmigiano fonduta and white truffle butter.
