Located within the walls of the Hotel Rural La Vida de Antes, albeit with its own independent access, this restaurant highlights the return of chef Pedro Rodríguez to his roots after many years working in the Spanish capital. This unpretentious eatery is a good option for getting your strength back after visiting the famous windmills nearby, through traditional-style cuisine with an international flavour and a strong focus on the environment that revolves around two tasting menus: Meridión (only at lunchtime on weekdays) and the so-called Viaje de sabores (short and long version, available every day). Dishes you’ll find on the menu include migas (fried breadcrumbs) with egg; almond-flavoured gachas with artisanal bread; cheek of wild boar; venison tenderloin, etc. The set menus, available for full tables only, require booking in advance!
