De Gaffel offers a dining experience steeped in rustic charm, beneath the thatched roof of a Saxon farmhouse warmed by a crackling open fire. The chef grows his own vegetables on site. He works with the finest ingredients and accentuates their quality with contemporary techniques. Featuring dishes such as an original take on vitello tonnato, and tender venison with a patiently reduced jus, a single surprise menu is served – you can choose to have four or five courses.
