Set in the heart of a picturesque Alsace village, this establishment is the epitome of sunny, like its gregarious chef, Anthony Schauer, who trained in top houses in northern Alsace. He and his wife cheerfully welcome you to their tasteful, contemporary restaurant, which provides the perfect foil to fresh, gutsy, seasonal fare with a bistronomic slant, such as marbled parsley ham served with a tangy ravigote sauce or confit of pollock, tomatoes, basil and fennel.
