This family-run eatery has been a hit with foodies for going on 25 years. The rural appeal of the brick-built farmstead and the surrounding countryside have most probably played their part, as has the picturesque interior. However, it is above all the healthy portions of classical fare, updated with the odd modern spin, that draw the regulars back. Examples include full-bodied rabbit and foie gras terrine, deliciously crispy calf’s sweetbread or fiendishly indulgent profiteroles filled with cream and coated in sophisticated dark chocolate at the last minute.
