Fresh and tasty cuisine is served here, and the menu is strongly influenced by the restaurant's own farm. For example, they raise their own Husum red pied pigs, chickens and German Angus cattle – exceptionally tender rump steaks guaranteed. The decor is a blend of industrial chic and charming retro style. Very friendly service. There is a smaller menu at lunchtime. Alongside the restaurants Das Grace and Minato, this is another dining option at the Hotel Das James, which enjoys a charming location on the harbour.
"Sustainable agriculture has been the goal of our business from the outset. Here at the Farmhouse we use animals that we rear ourselves: breeds such as Danish Protest, Duroc and woolly pigs, as well as chickens and cattle. We save energy wherever possible, and produce it ourselves through our biogas plant."
