Directly overlooking the lake and just a stone’s throw from the pedestrianised area, this restaurant boasts a spacious dining room with breathtaking views and a convenient terrace at street level which is ideal for alfresco lunches and dinners. The cuisine focuses on generous dishes inspired by local traditions with an emphasis on meat, although fish (from the nearby lake but also from the sea) also features on the menu. Children’s portions are available, while the wine list offers a good selection of carefully chosen Slovenian wines if you want to order a glass of wine with your meal. Our favourite dishes included the porcini “cappuccino”, the river trout with potato salad and, for dessert, the famous cream millefeuille (a Bled speciality).
