You can sense the dedication of hosts Rita and Domenico Miggiano-Köferli, who, since 2000, have been running this lovely inn that is steeped in history. As well as having tasteful, individually decorated guestrooms and Gaststube (their everyday restaurant), Löwen is home to Apriori, a fine dining restaurant that has held a MICHELIN star since 2018. The setting is modern and elegant, with warm tones and elegant design details shaping a refined interior. The small private dining area, with just five tables, offers a wonderfully intimate atmosphere. Chef-patron Domenico Miggiano puts his heart and soul into his cooking. His culinary style is a modern take on classic cuisine, with Mediterranean accents. In the evening, they serve the "Signature" set menu, comprising four, five or six courses and with an optional cheese course. At lunchtime, in addition to an appealing "business lunch", a wide à la carte selection is also available. The impressive wine list featuring approximately 350 labels provides a brief description of each winery. The charming proprietress is a trained sommelier and her recommendations are excellent.
