This diminutive noodle bar is the kind of place you would recommend to a good friend. The place has an authentically Japanese feel, thanks to the charming and traditional Far Eastern decorative touches, vibrant atmosphere and polite service, not to mention the fresh, authentic cuisine. The udon (noodles) are a must – with or without broth. Or perhaps you're in the mood for donburi (rice bowls), available here with vegetables, fried chicken or raw salmon with wasabi dressing. You can choose to supplement your meal with ippin – small dishes such as wakame salad or sashimi omakase. Our tip for cooler days: a house sake – served warm!
