The Albert
"The décor resembles a chic library, with leather-bound tomes and vintage filing cabinets," inspectors state of this restaurant inside the EMC2 Hotel. The $95 per person holiday menu is available both Christmas Eve and Day, and includes a roasted beet, fig and endive salad, prime rib au jus, and a Bûche de Noël. On Christmas Eve, this Gold Coast restaurant will be hosting a Feast of the Seven Fishes dinner for $100 per person. Dishes include charred shrimp salad with avocado, pappardelle with red mullet and pistachio and salmon with olives, chiles and capers. The Christmas Day menu, at $80 per adult and $35 per child, includes butternut squash soup with candied pine nuts and black truffle oil; bone-in rib eye roast with garlic mashed potatoes, roasted broccoli and red wine sauce; and German chocolate cake with pecans and coconut-lime sorbetto.
